The phone rang. It was Mom.
“I want you to write a blog post about Mrs. Bridgewater.”
I recognized the name, and knew I’d heard the story before, but I asked her to tell me the story again. The story about the day my older brother was born.
Over the last few years, since I “retired” and have more time for reading, I’ve learned that historical nonfiction books are a great way to help fill in the blanks of our ancestor stories.
