Whenever I see an old photo in an antique or vintage store, it breaks my heart a little – to think of those wonderful old family objects that no doubt meant so much to someone – orphaned in a shop with no family member to continue cherishing them.
In the last few years, I’ve started buying the ones with good name and location information on the back in the hope of reuniting them with some family member who will continue to appreciate and take care of them.
If you think one of these “orphaned photos” belongs in your family, please click on the CONTACT ME button at the top of the page and send me a message. I can then arrange to send you the original photograph.
